BUCF HONORARY MEMBERS
President Daniel O'Doherty & the 2008-9 Committee established a system of Honorary Memberships in May 2009 in order to recognise individuals who it is deemed had a particularly positive impact on, and are held in particularly high regard within, the society. Honorary Memberships are awarded at the Annual General Meeting and can only be awarded by the committee of the day. Standing committee members may not nominate themselves and each nomination must be seconded by a standing member of the committee. The system is designed to ensure a link remains between the society and those who have contributed in some way to its development as well as giving BUCF an invaluable sense of identity, history and tradition.
